Data Deletion

Last updated · 25 August 2026

Fanfare Labs, Inc. (“Fanfare”) provides social analytics software to professional sports organizations, media, and their partners. This page explains what we store when an organization connects a social media account to Fanfare, how to stop that collection, and how to have the stored data deleted.

What We Store

When an account is connected, Fanfare reads and stores data belonging to that Page or profile so we can report on how its content is performing:

We do not store your social account passwords.

Stopping Collection

An authorized user can disconnect an account at any time from Settings within Fanfare. Disconnecting immediately stops all further collection and revokes the access token we hold.

Requesting Deletion

Email privacy@fanfaresocial.com with the subject line Data deletion request, telling us the name of the account and the organization it is connected under. We may ask you to confirm your authority to make the request, so that nobody can delete another organization’s data.

We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within 30 days. Where an organization’s agreement with us gives it the right to direct how its data is handled, we will act on that organization’s instruction.

What Deletion Removes

We delete the posts, comments, tagged mentions, engagement figures, performance metrics and profile records held for that account, together with the stored access token and the connection itself. Deletion is not reversible, and reconnecting later begins from an empty history.

Two limits apply. Data residing in routine backups is deleted as those backups age out in the ordinary course rather than immediately, and remains protected until then. And we may retain limited records where the law requires it; if that applies to your request we will tell you what is being kept and why.

Deletion does not extend to aggregated, de-identified statistics that cannot identify your organization, your account or any individual, which we retain to operate and improve our services.
